Experience

Our principals have over 100 years of experience managing private equity assets for family offices, endowments, foundations, and High Net Worth Individuals. Dick Johnston represented the Hillman Company as an original investor with KKR and Kleiner Perkins. Catharine Burkett joined Dick at the Hillman Company in the early 80's and over the last 20 years has designed, built and managed private equity funds for corporate pensions, foundations and two major university endowments, Duke University and the University of Richmond.

Using a diversified approach for building private equity portfolios we can provide access to top quartile partnership investments while also identifying up-and-coming partnerships.

Influence

We "grew up" with some of the most successful private equity fund managers in the country. They know us; we know them. We have developed solid, on-going relationships. As a result, we can command the kind of access usually reserved only for much larger firms representing significant institutional clients. That access makes a tremendous difference for sophisticated, but smaller investors.
