F. Mackey Hughes, Managing Member

Mackey leads investor relations and fundraising initiatives for Camden Partners, where he focuses on Camden's Hedge Fund, Private Equity Fund of Funds, and Strategic Equity Funds. He is responsible for framing the strategic growth of all three of Camden's investment disciplines.

Prior to joining Camden in 2006, he spent 19 years with Alex. Brown & Sons Inc. and its successor organizations, Bankers Trust Corporation and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. During his tenure, he served as Head of Sales Management and Business Development responsible for the Private Client Division. He was also Co-Head of Sales, was a member of the operating and executive committees, and was a Managing Director of both the Private Client Division and Alex. Brown's Real Estate Group. His twenty-six year career in the securities industry has spanned a wide range of investment disciplines, including experience in private equity, asset management, and real estate.

Mackey earned his B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
