David is a Partner with Camden Partners and co-founded the firm in 1995. He has over 24 years of investment experience and focuses on investments in the business and financial services and education sectors. He serves on the board of American Public Education, Inc., Inc., New Horizons Worldwide, Inc., Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., Primo Water Corporation, Questar Assessment, Inc., Towne Park Ltd., Ranir LLC, and CIBT School of Business and Technology Corp., all of which are Camden Partners' portfolio companies.
Previously, David was President of T. Rowe Price Strategic Partners and T. Rowe Price Strategic Partners II. He was also co-manager of the T. Rowe Price New Horizons Fund. David was employed by T. Rowe Price Associates from 1983 to 1995. Upon forming Camden Partners (formerly known as Cahill, Warnock & Company) and until December 31, 1997, David served as a consultant to the advisory committees of T. Rowe Price Strategic Partners and T. Rowe Price Strategic Partners II. David started his career at Welch and Forbes, Boston-based private trustees.
David is also involved with numerous non-profit organizations. He is the Chairman of the Center for Fathers, Families, and Workforce Development, as well as Calvert Education Services, the nation's largest non-sectarian homeschooling organization. He also serves on the board of the National Alliance to End Homelessness and the University of Wisconsin Applied Security Analysis Program and is a trustee on the board of the Baltimore Museum of Art.
David earned a B.A. degree from the University of Delaware and a M.S. (in Finance) from the University of Wisconsin. David is also a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder.
